Homage !

Jogger's, Walker's, Sun bather's and all the many who were residing near the shore at Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka and Andaman & Nicobar islands, were swept away into the sea by huge and strong tidal waves; leaving more than 75,000 people dead and an equal number affected or missing.

This tragedy was due to 'Tsunami' (pronounced tsoo-nah-mee) wave train or series of waves generated by the water body due to impulsive disturbances on the earth surfaces. This is a very common occurance in USA and Japan.

Its very heartening to note that a lot of countries and individual people are coming forwards with contribution and also offering themselves for assisting in the relief works.

The video coverage shows large scale devastation of land and buildings. This phenomenon has rendered thousands without shelter and has also shattered their dreams.

May all the dead rest in peace !!!

Acknowledgement !!!

I am posting after a long time; been quite busy & occupied with my Univ. work .

Had a lot of assignments to complete and was ably assisted by 'Thale' Aditya.

He is like my elder brother here at S'pore, offering me all possible advice and guidence when ever I feel a bit moraly low and he also assists me in making me more aware of the way a market works and also the dynamics involved. He has definetly contributed a lot towards me improving my sence of understanding the economics of life and also the surroundings.

I have been fortunate to have good people around me and the other person in the list is 'Grand Ma' [Konki Mercy Theresa], my flat mate. We both share a good sense of understanding and am quite happy to have come to know her. To say, she is very caring and to top it up a very good cook and is a very lively person. Though she is younger to me by around 6 yrs, she is very matured in her thoughts and actions. We both share a lot of common intersts and on many occassions we end up having some very interesting discussions spread over a variety of topics.

Not the least, I think i am quite happy and am proud of having probably the best family that anyone could have. My 2 brothers (Anandettan & Ashokettan), Dad & Mom, 2 S'sIL (Rajani edathi and Preeta edathi) have all contributed in every possible way to guide and direct me to achieve my ambitions and goals in life.

Sunchi (Sundari) & Kannumama (Mohandas); dad's younger bother i.e. my Chittamma and chittappan, have always been a pillar of suport to my family both during good and bad times. Their love to us is something that cannot be measured nor expressed, its absolutely precious and am fortunate to be one amongst his 'three rascals'.

There are still many people who have come by my life and about whom i have not mentioned, but they have supported and cared for me at many occassions, like Joseph and Glady (Dubai), Kanik (Mumbai), Imtiaz (Dubai), Emelynne (Dubai), Partha, Mausam, Joy and Anamika (Hyderabad), Chechi (Shanti-maa)...

This is just a way of expressing my love for their concern and guidance, which they have been showing towards me till this day.

This place is also in S'pore. Its in an island known as 'Pulau Ubin'. This place is a natural reserve and a portion of this area is managed by HSBC. They have adopted a portion of the beach as part of their contribution towards the society.  Posted by Hello

S'pore Motor Show

Today, I had a very good experience and a wonderful time. Had been to the Motor show held at Suntec City along with Aditya and Mercy.

Aditya was just drooping over the Lamborgini and believe me, I was also equally drooping over them. What a piece of machinary and craftsmanship.

There were some really cool models posing next to the cars, really wonder "its an exhibition for cars or skimply clad models posing for pictures???", makes me think for sure.

The highlight of the event ot for that matter the day was an ride with experienced dare drivers in Subaru Impreza cars. We three were the last to take the ride and hence got an extra round, what an experience. totally out of the world

Daimler Benz, stall was very unique, as they did not have any current models, but had only their old models, say "Vintage".

the show has only increased my liking for cars, just waiting for the day to lay my hands on one.!!!

Its been a long time since I had posted some information on this site.
Been quite busy with my classes and other activities.

My elder brother Anand, was supposed to come over to S'pore for about 4-5 day bu unfortunately did not happen as he could not find time to get time to visit the counslate for his visa. Very sad coz of this.

Really wanted to have some member of the family here, moreover he was supposed to carry along with him for me some cd's (VCD of Yog's and Pran - their very young days), now need to wait for how long, not sure.
