'Cry No More by Linda Howard' is another book that I have just finished reading. The book is about Milla Edge, who has lost her child, while shopping at a village market in Mexico and the turn of events that lead her back to her lost son after many years.
The book gives and insight into the child kidnapping and kidney transplant racket and how it has changed the life of many.
The books has many turns and twists, which make it very interesting, nail biting and pulse-pounding with anticipation of what is going to happen next.

'River of no Return' by Padmin Gunaratnam, is very nicely written book about the life of an ex-convict Julia Chan. The story of the book is about the life after Julia is released from the Singapore Changi Prison and how she tries her best to overcome emotions and troubles that crop in between her, adopted parents, 2 children and her in-laws.
The support of friends and support from a new faith, makes interesting reading.

'The Namesake by Jumpa Lahiri' is quite an impressive book to read, but tends to drag a bit towards the end. The characters in the book are names from West Bengal state of India and the story revolves around the Ganguly family, who have migrated and ultimately becoming citizens of US.
The story is about the way, Ganguli and his wife have accepted the changes and reality in life after moving to this new country, so away from their home land, family and friends.
The story has been told in a very subtle manner and makes a pretty decent reading.

This book is also interesting, especially the way the Pental in Brazil has been described. The book has some interesting stuff about Brazil, its people and the journey in the river and the Indian tribe.
The book gives a shrill, especially the section, where the interrogation of the Pehlan family in the courtroom is carried and the events that lead one of the main character Nate O'Riley , trying to reform himself from the addictions and start looking upto the God for assistance and strength.
The book is very absorbing and the pages just fly by.... true Grisham style....
